Your adventure begins at Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Feel the mist rising from “The Smoke That Thunders,” then experience it from an entirely different perspective as you soar above the falls on a thrilling helicopter flight. As evening arrives, settle into a sunset cruise along the legendary Zambezi River, where elephants gather on the shoreline, hippos emerge from the water, and African sunsets paint the sky in shades that seem almost impossible.

Next, board your own private luxury houseboat on the Chobe River—an experience unlike any traditional safari lodge. Here, Africa comes to you. Glide quietly through channels on intimate boat safaris where you can pull alongside pods of hippos, drift past elephants feeding and swimming in the water, and witness one of the most extraordinary concentrations of wildlife anywhere on the continent. Bird lovers will be captivated by Chobe’s remarkable diversity, with fish eagles, kingfishers, bee-eaters, herons, and countless species filling the skies and riverbanks with color and movement.

Then, journey deep into the Okavango Delta to an exclusive luxury camp so remote and private that the only way in is by helicopter. Your arrival itself becomes part of the adventure as you soar above endless waterways and islands before touching down in one of Africa’s most pristine wilderness areas. Here, surrounded by complete solitude and extraordinary beauty, you'll experience safari at its finest—where luxury and wild Africa exist in perfect harmony.

This is more than a trip. It is Africa at its most spectacular, intimate, and unforgettable.

Arrive in Joburg and be met by our greeter who will help you through customs and escort you to the hotel. It is a short walk from the terminal to the Intercontinental. 

Dinner is not scheduled but we may meet up and have dinner at the hotel. 

We will have breakfast and then walk over to the terminal for our flight to Victoria Falls. 

Arrive in Vic Falls and have a 20 minute drive to the Ilala Lodge. 

We will meet at 4 pm and transfer to the Zambezi River for a sunset cruise.

Dinner back at the Ilala. 

We will meet early and take the short drive to the entrance to the Falls. We will be at the falls when the sun rises. After touring the falls we will walk back to the Ilala and have a nice breakfast. 

Free time until 4 pm for the helicopter flight over the falls. 

We will walk over to River Brewing for dinner. 

This morning we will check out and be driven in nice vans to Kasane, Botswana. The drive takes about 90 minutes and we will cross the border and stamp into Botswana. 

Arrive at the boat ramp and stamp out of Botswana.

Boat ride across the Chobe River and stamp into Namibia. See elephants and bird life on the river. 

Arrive by boat to the Pangolin Voyager house boat. 

Check in and be assigned rooms. Lunch on the boat and relax before our afternoon game drive.

We will cruise the river looking for game like Kudu, elephants, hippos, crocs, and lots of bird life. 

See the sun set while out on the river. Then return to the Voyager for cocktails and dinner.

Return for lunch and rest.

Same as previous day. 

This morning we will take our last game ride and then return for breakfast. After breakfast we will leave the Voyager with our bags and stamp out of Namibia. We then stamp back into Botswana and head or the Kasane airport. We will board our helicopter flight to the Okavango and our new camp. Flying over the Delta in the chopper will be amazing. We will be picked up at the airstrip by our guides and check into camp. We will have an afternoon game drive and return for dinner. 

Morning and afternoon game drives. Bush walks are an option.

Another day of game drives in the Delta. 

This morning we will have one last morning game drive. Then pack our bags and take a helicopter to Maun.  Fly from Maun to Johannesburg in time for your flight home or your next destination. 

Deposits and Final Payment
A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your reservation with Boone Safaris. Due to the advance commitments and payments required to secure accommodations, permits, and other safari arrangements, deposits are generally non-refundable.

If a guest cancels and Boone Safaris is able to fill the vacated space with another paying guest, Boone Safaris will refund the original guest's deposit once the replacement booking has been confirmed and payment received. While we will make every reasonable effort to assist in filling a cancelled space, we cannot guarantee that a replacement guest will be found.

Final payment is due no later than 90 days prior to the scheduled departure date. Once final payment has been made, all amounts paid are non-refundable.

Travel Insurance
Boone Safaris strongly recommends that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. Travel insurance should include, at a minimum, coverage for trip cancellation, trip interruption, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and other unforeseen circumstances that may prevent participation in the safari.

Guests are responsible for understanding the terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions of their chosen travel insurance policy. Boone Safaris assumes no responsibility for losses resulting from a guest's decision not to purchase adequate insurance coverage.

Guest Cancellations
If a guest cancels their participation in a safari for any reason, including but not limited to illness, injury, family emergencies, work-related obligations, or other personal circumstances, Boone Safaris' cancellation policies as outlined above shall apply. Guests are encouraged to seek reimbursement through their travel insurance provider when applicable.

Force Majeure
Boone Safaris shall not be liable for any delay, cancellation, modification, loss, injury, damage, expense, or inability to perform its obligations resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, extreme weather events, political unrest, terrorism, war, civil disturbances, government actions or travel restrictions, strikes, transportation disruptions, epidemics, pandemics, disease outbreaks (including Ebola), or other unforeseen events.

In the event that a safari cannot proceed as planned due to a force majeure event, Boone Safaris will make every reasonable effort to reschedule the guest's safari to a future departure of substantially similar value. Any amounts previously paid to Boone Safaris may be applied toward the rescheduled safari without penalty. However, Boone Safaris cannot guarantee refunds for payments already made to third-party suppliers, lodges, airlines, or service providers, and guests acknowledge that reimbursement may not be possible under such circumstances.

Changes to Itinerary
While every effort will be made to operate the safari as advertised, Boone Safaris reserves the right to make reasonable changes to accommodations, routing, activities, transportation, or other itinerary components when necessary due to operational requirements, safety considerations, or circumstances beyond our control.

Acceptance of Terms
Payment of a deposit constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of these Booking Terms & Conditions by all travelers included in the reservation.
